The ASEAN Fixed Income Summit, hosted by Bank Negara Malaysia and jointly organised by Cagamas Berhad, ACI - Financial Markets Association of Malaysia and the Malaysian Association of Corporate Treasurers (MACT), brought together more than 400 participants from across the South East Asian region and Europe. The Summit addressed the development of the cross border bond market in Asia, from the perspective of leading issuers, investors, banks and policymakers, and on how receptive the region has become to investing in local currency bonds issued from neighbouring nations.
