The Asian Secondary Mortgage Corporation (ASMC) roundtable meeting was held to provide the opportunity for useful dialogue and exchange of ideas amongst secondary mortgage corporations (SMC) within the Asian region. The meeting brought together representatives from Cagamas Berhad, Secondary Mortgage Corporation of Thailand, Japan Housing Finance Agency, PT Sarana Multigriya Financial (Persero) Indonesia and the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation Philippines.
The meeting agreed on the formation an Asian Secondary Mortgage Market Association.
