Cagamas Berhad (Cagamas) participated in the IMT-GT & BIMP-EAGA Green City Action Plan Kick-Off: Building Back Better organised by the Government of Malaysia under the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) of the Prime Minister’s Department, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI) and the IMT-GT Joint Business Council (JBC) Malaysia in Langkawi, Kedah Darul Aman. The event aimed to support the development of Green City Action Plans (GCAPs) in 14 Malaysian cities over the next five years under the IMT-GT and BIMP East ASEAN Growth Area subregional cooperation. Cagamas’ Senior Vice President, Leong See Meng was a panelist at a panel session to share his thoughts on the “Role of Financial Institutions in Supporting Sustainable Cities”.
